CLINICAL REFLEXOLOGY

During a Clinical reflexology treatment all body systems are worked.  These include the Musculoskeletal, Nervous, Respiratory, Lymphatic, Digestive, Urinary and Endocrine system.

A variety of techniques are used to help to identify any imbalances within the body, which may be as a result of stress, illness or injury.  Through working the reflexes on the feet in a specific way the body’s own healing mechanisms are stimulated to rebalance body and mind.

MATERNITY 

REFLEXOLOGY

A reflexology treatment aimed specifically at supporting and helping women during pre-conception, pregnancy, labour and the post-natal period.  Treatments are adapted to support each stage, promoting relaxation, improving circulation and stimulating vital organs, to nurture both mother and baby.

AROMA REFLEX

Encompassing all of the benefits of reflexology combined with Aromatherapy.  Following a consultation we discuss 3 areas/symptoms that you may need support with e.g, sleep, anxiety, digestion…. then up to 3 oils are blended into a balm specifically for you.  You also get to take a pot of your special balm home to use in between treatments, further enhancing the benefits to you.

HAND REFLEXOLOGY

This treatment is performed on the hands and incorporates many of the benefits of the clinical reflexology treatment outlined above.  It is a very relaxing treatment to rebalance body and mind.

REFLEXOLOGY LYMPH DRAINAGE

Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is an award winning technique developed by Sally Kay to help ladies suffering with secondary lymphoedema of the arm as a result of breast cancer surgery.  The technique focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system mapped out on the feet and has proven very successful in alleviating the pain and swelling associated with lymphoedema. As RLD encourages the body’s own defence system, it has also shown through clinical trials to help with many other auto-immune disorders such as Rheumatoid arthritis, eczema,  psoriasis, asthma, allergies/hayfever, Fibromyalgia/CFS/ME, migraines and digestive disorders including IBS/Colitis/Crohn’s and Coeliac.

Extend your treatment 

Time to sit back and unwind with a cuppa before your treatment, enjoying the benefits of Neal's yard products in a relaxing footbath with acupressure points.  This is followed by a gorgeous Neal's Yard foot cream to begin your treatment.
